Another Scottish Ramble

David South & his Scottish Dance Band latest album celebrate both the 50th anniversary of Jimmy Shand & his Band’s original album Awa’ Frae Hame and the 80th anniversary since Jimmy Shand made his first recordings in 1933.

The first eight tracks on the album follow the original Shand album, with all the same tune sets, just played our way as an homage to the original.

The last four tracks are just David South on accordion and Duncan Smith on piano, again playing the same tunes 80 years on.
