The Band of the Black Watch and Frank Reid Band play Scottish Country Dance music in traditional reeling style. Part of this CD is a re-issue of The Black Watch "A Real Party" with additional music by Frank Reed who plays regularly at St Andrew's Ball in London.
The Cavendish Dance Band plays Scottish Country Dance music in traditional reeling style. This band was for many years immensely popular at the Highland and Hunt Balls from London to the Isle of Skye, with the unique sound of fiddles, accordion, piano, drums and a bass with clarinet lead as played at St Andrew's ball in London.

The 2nd recording by Atlantic Crossing, Full and Away, was produced in 2000 and named one of the top 10 Vermont albums of 2000 by the arts weekly Seven Days. The boat featured on the album cover, Feather, was a love of Rick's life and his one-time home.
The 3rd album by Atlantic Crossing continues the theme of presenting their self-penned songs: Viveka's tale of the Lewis & Clark expedition from the point of view of the fiddler, Pierre Cruzatte, and Peter's wanderings along the North Sea coastline near where he grew up, written in the throes of emigration, Winter's Dark Horizon.
The 4th release (2006) by Atlantic Crossing takes them into the realms of self-production. This album has a similar mix of sets of dance tunes and ballads to the previous three. This album is being played in diverse parts of the world from Australia to Norway, from California to Belarus.
In response to demand from contra dancers, Atlantic Crossing compiled 13 of their favourite dance sets and a couple of waltzes on to one album, unfettered by songs. All of these tracks are available on our previous albums, but here the avid dancer can merely hit "Play" and disappear into that world of dancing bliss for nearly an hour ... before emerging...
