James Senior

St Andrews Shoemakers Ltd originated at the hands of the late James Senior in the 1980's and the tradition has been carried on by Linda & Tom Struthers since 2001.

The company has its own tannery producing the finest gloving leathers to our own specification. Using the latest technologies we are assured of consistent leather thickness throughout the shoe which in turn ensures a standardised manufacturing approach across our ranges. We are able to use a lighter weight and finer grained leather which allows the shoe to feel like a second skin around the foot.

    The Braemar Ghillie is a high quality shoe made by the well known shoemaker, James Senior. An extensive size range is available from Child 10 - Adult 13½ in half sizes, and a wider fitting version.  All shoes are fitted with in-built Poron Shock Absorber technology as standard. Also available in Red, Blue and Green.
